  • 1lb Ground turkey breast
  • 1Whole Egg
  • 3Cups Marinara SauceOr desirable amount
  • 1teaspoon Himalayan Salt
  • 1/2Whole OnionPrefer shallot if its available. Small cubed.
  • 3Cloves garlicMinced
  • 1/2oz Triple cream wild mushroom brie
  • Black pepper
  • BasilPrefer fresh
  • Parmesan cheeseOptional for topping
  • Avocado OilFor greasing the pan
  1. In a mixing bowl, crack the egg and mix it with salt, minced garlic, black pepper, and small cubed onion. Then add ground turkey and mix again.
  2. Slice the cheese into small cubes. About an inch cube.
  3. Grab a small handful of ground turkey and form a ball shape. Then stuff it with cheese into the middle.
  4. In a baking pan, drizzle some avocado oil. Enough to grease the bottom.
  5. Place the meatball in the greased pan. Once you are done with the meatball, pour marinara sauce over the meatball. Depends on personal preference, you can place additional cheese on top of the marinara sauce. You can also pour extra marinara sauce on the side of the meatball for additional dipping sauce.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until brown. This cooking time will depend on how big your meatball is.
  7. Once the meatballs are cooked, sliced the baguette (bake it for 5 minutes if you like it toasted) and spread the marinara sauce inside the baguette. Then place the meatball and some fresh basil on top.
