Why use protein smoothies?
Protein smoothies/shakes are great for post workouts as they nourish our bodies. Proteins in our body are used to manufacture hormones, enzymes, cellular messengers, nucleic acid, and immune system components. Without adequate protein, our body can’t put together the structure that makes up every cell, tissue, and organs – nor can it generate biochemicals that are needed for cardiovascular functions, muscle contractions, growth, and healing.
