  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Packet of Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 Cup Warm water
  • 3 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Or Any Kind Of Puree


1. Combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl and mix well.

2. gradually incorporate the lukewarm water and pumpkin puree into the dry ingredients while stirring. Keep mixing until the dough begins to form a cohesive mass.

3. Place the dough onto a clean surface lightly dusted with flour and knead it for approximately 10 minutes or until it attains a smooth and elastic texture.

4. Grease a bowl and place the dough in it, then cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow the dough to rise in a warm, draft-free location for approximately 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

5. After the dough has risen, gently press it down to release any trapped air bubbles. Transfer the dough back to the lightly floured surface and divide it into dough balls of equal size. The number of portions will vary based on your preferred bun size.

6. Take a portion of the dough and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin, circular sheet, ensuring it reaches the desired thickness. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a cylinder shape.

7. Cut the rolled dough into smaller sections, each about 1 inch long. Press one section flat with your palm, then gently shape it into a petal-like form by curling it inwards. Repeat the same process with the remaining sections of dough, forming individual petals for each one.

8. Arrange the shaped petals in a circular pattern on a small piece of parchment paper or a greased steaming tray, with the curled ends facing up. This will create the rose bun.
