What You Will Need To Make these Passion fruit Mango Popsicles
High-Speed Blender
To make these passionfruit mango popsicles, you will need a high-speed blender and blend together until smooth like mango puree. While you can use regular smoothie blenders like Ninja or NutriBullet, you may not get the fine texture a high-speed blender as a Vitamix can offer.
If you don't have a blender, you can use a food processor or a handheld blender.
Popsicle Molds
You will need four popsicle molds or a popsicle tray that will allow the content to freeze and turn into popsicles.
These are my favorite popsicle molds. They are an eco-friendly, plastic-free popsicle mold that is made from stainless steel.
Mango
To make these naturally sweetened passion fruit mango popsicles, you will need to use either fresh ripe Ataulfo mangoes or frozen mango chunks. I like to use fresh mangoes because I find them usually sweeter than frozen mango pieces, especially if you use Ataulfo. This is a sweeter variety of mangoes, and it is the perfect variety to make these passion fruit mango popsicles.
Here is the deal for frozen mango chunks. If you choose to use them, you will need to let them thaw first. By allowing them to thaw, it helps blend it smoothly with the other ingredients.
Passion fruit
I used two fresh passion fruits to make these passion fruit mango popsicles.
Lemon
The acidity and tangy flavors from the lemon juice will bring the passion fruit and mango flavor together perfectly.
Water
To get all the ingredients to blend, I use a splash of water to help the blending process. You only need a little bit to get the blending going. If you are unsure how much to add, add a tablespoon at a time.
Optional sweetener
If you use perfectly ripe fresh fruits to make these passion fruit mango popsicles, you won't need to add any additional sweetener. This makes passion fruit mango popsicle the perfect summer treat and summer snack. Both perfectly ripe fresh fruit offers enough sweetness, but if you use frozen mango cubes, you may want to add a touch of sweetener. For sweeteners, I recommend using maple syrup, honey, or Medjool dates.
